Pandavas during their 12 years of exile.

 When the Pandavas were enjoying their 12-year exile, they made good use of this opportunity to visit India.  In the course of his travels, he also went to Northeast India and visited Naga-Pradesh and Manipur there.

 In Manipur, Pandava Veer Arjuna married Chitrangada, the princess there, and both of them had a son named Babhruvahan, who was very mighty.

 Arjuna's son Babhruvahan was later the ruler of Manipur for many years.  The influence of the Pandava dynasty ruling there is also clearly visible, the Manipuri language is considered to be very effective in terms of literature, not only this, the dance style of Manipur, its social system and female dominance also greatly influences the natural beauty.  He has it.

 Manipur has also been a major center for the spread of Vaishnava cults in the northeast, there is a district named Vishnupur where there is a six hundred year old temple of Lord Vishnu.  There is a huge temple of Govind Dev Ji in Imphal, where every year the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great pomp.

 Manipur, which is full of so many things to be proud of, is also unfortunately beset by the same woes that the entire Northeast is facing today.  Manipur is geographically divided into hills and plains and according to some provisions of the constitution, the hill people have some special facilities as compared to the plains, so the anti-national forces took this as the basis and there was a struggle between the plains and the hills.  done.  Then on their behest, a lot of conversion was done in the hilly areas.  The language created controversy when the number of converted increased.

 The people of the plains wished that Manipuri should be accepted as the official language, while the converted people raised the demand to give this place to English.  Due to which the struggle kept on increasing.  When the conversion work of the hill people was completed, then they turned towards the plains.

 Taught the innocent people who have been following the Vaishnava sect of Hinduism for centuries that you are not a Hindu but a Meitei, which is not only different from Hinduism but also has its own tradition and culture, Hindu attackers attacked you as a Hindu.  Religion is imposed.  To spread this poison, they have formed an organization named 'Maitei Marup', which day and night bases on Hindu beliefs and incites Vaishnavites there against Hindu religion.  There were incidents of burning of Bhagavad Gita in the 60s on the instigation of this institution.  People with nationalist views could neither recognize the problems of Manipur in time nor came forward to do anything for it, so the poison of 'Meitei Marup' continued to spread in Manipur, which culminated in separatism and anti-India.  Came.  Manipur has been the most disturbed state of the Northeast where at least two dozen terrorist organizations are active today, there will hardly be any bank branch here which has not been looted, these militant organizations obstruct every development work and do not allow industries to take off  .

 Manipur's problems do not end here, Muivah, a militant leader of the N.S.C.N. operating in Nagaland, is a resident of Manipur, which was raised by the western countries.  Due to the activities of the N.S.C.N., there is an economic blockade in Manipur, due to which the prices of daily necessities keep skyrocketing, Manipur, like the rest of the northeastern states, is doomed by the continuous infiltration from Bangladesh, whose total population is today  In Manipur it has been more than 25 percent.  Most of the fertile land of Manipur is now in the possession of these infiltrators.  Due to illegal immigration, ISI has also made its wide base here.

 Once the Dwarkadhish Lord Shri Krishna had come to Manipur searching for the Syamantaka gem and when he left, the Vaishnava Bhakti stream had flowed out of this region.

 Now when a person born in the kingdom of Krishna fed a lotus in this heaven of the East in 2017, a lot of things started changing there.

 Just born in this Manipur's Nongpek Kakching village, when the girl gave India a medal in the Olympics, I was the happiest because this girl is completely bound by the Sanatan Hindu rites because this girl also belongs to the same "Meitei" society which is called non-Hindu today.  The campaign to declare is going on and is from a state which is constantly under target due to conversion, separatism, terrorism and illegal immigration from Bangladesh.

 It is a matter of pride to win the medal of Mirabai, who reads Hanuman Chalisa, comes before the world by decorating a plate of worship, but even more pride is that she is also the answer to the disruptive forces of Manipur.

 In this formerly state, the sunrise of Krishna's devotion, which has dimmed, has its "Mira".

पांडव जब अपना 12 वर्षीय वनवास भोग रहे थे तो इस अवसर का सदुपयोग उन्होंने भारत भ्रमण में किया। अपनी यात्राओं के क्रम में वो  पूर्वोत्तर भारत भी गये थे और वहां नागा-प्रदेश और मणिपुर की यात्रा की थी।

मणिपुर में पांडव वीर अर्जुन ने वहां की राजकुमारी चित्रांगदा से विवाह किया था और उन दोनों को बभ्रुवाहन नाम का एक पुत्र हुआ जो बड़ा पराक्रमी था।

अर्जुन पुत्र बभ्रुवाहन बाद में कई वर्षों तक मणिपुर के शासक रहे। पांडववंशी शासक के वहां राज करने का प्रभाव भी स्पष्ट दिखता है, मणिपुरी भाषा साहित्य की दृष्टि से बेहद प्रभावी मानी जाती है, इतना ही नहीं मणिपुर की नृत्य शैली, वहां की सामाजिक व्यवस्था और महिला प्रधानता भी बेहद प्रभावित करती हैं, प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य तो खैर उसके पास है ही।

मणिपुर पूर्वोत्तर में वैष्णव पंथ प्रसार का भी बड़ा केंद्र रहा है, वहां के एक जिले का नाम विष्णुपुर है जहाँ भगवान विष्णु का छः सौ साल पुराना मंदिर है। इम्फाल में गोविन्द देव जी का एक विशाल मंदिर है जहाँ हर वर्ष भगवान श्रीकृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव बड़े ही धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है।

गौरवान्वित करने वाली इतनी चीजों से भरा मणिपुर भी दुर्भाग्य से उन्हीं संकटों से घिरा है जिससे आज पूरा का पूरा पूर्वोत्तर जूझ रहा है। मणिपुर भौगोलिक रूप से पहाड़ी तथा मैदानी दो हिस्सों में बंटा है और संविधान के कुछ प्रावधानों के अनुसार पहाड़ी लोगों को मैदानी लोगों की तुलना में कुछ विशेष सुविधायें प्राप्त हैं इसलिये राष्ट्रविरोधी शक्तियों ने इस बात को आधार बना लिया और वहां मैदानी और पहाड़ी का संघर्ष खड़ा कर दिया। फिर इनके शह पर पहाड़ी इलाकों में जमकर मतांतरण करवाया गया। जब कनवर्टेड की संख्या बढ़ गई तो भाषा विवाद पैदा कर दिया।

मैदानी लोगों की इच्छा थी कि राज्यभाषा के रूप में मणिपुरी स्वीकृत की जाये वहीं कन्वर्ट हो चुके लोगों ने ये स्थान अंग्रेजी को देने की मांग उठा दी। जिसके कारण संघर्ष बढ़ता ही चला गया। जब पहाड़ी लोगों का मतांतरण कार्य पूरा हो गया फिर उनका रुख मैदानी इलाकों की ओर हुआ।

सदियों से हिन्दू धर्म के वैष्णव पंथ को मान रहे भोले-भाले लोगों को ये सिखाया कि तुम लोग हिन्दू नहीं हो बल्कि मैतेई हो जो हिन्दू धर्म से न सिर्फ अलग है बल्कि अपनी अलग परंपरा और संस्कृति भी रखता है, हिन्दू हमलावरों ने तुम पर हिन्दू धर्म थोप रखा है। अपने इस जहर को फैलाने के लिये इन्होनें 'मैतेई मरुप' नाम से एक संस्था बना रखी है जो दिन-रात हिन्दू विश्वासों पर आधात करती है तथा वहां के वैष्णवों को हिन्दू धर्म के खिलाफ भड़काती है। इस संस्था के उकसावे पर वहां 60 के दशक में भगवत गीता जलाने की भी घटनायें हुई थी। राष्ट्रवादी विचार वाले लोग मणिपुर के समस्याओं को न तो समय रहते पहचान पाये और न ही उसके लिये कुछ करने को आगे आ सके इसलिये 'मैतेई मरुप' का जहर मणिपुर में निरंतर फैलता ही चला गया जिसकी परिणति अलगाववाद और भारत-विरोध के रूप में सामने आया। मणिपुर पूर्वोत्तर का सबसे अशांत प्रदेश रहा है जहाँ आज कम से कम दो दर्जन आतंकी संगठन सक्रिय हैं, यहाँ शायद ही कोई बैंक शाखा होगी जिसे लूटा न गया हो, ये उग्रवादी संगठन हर विकास कार्य में रोड़ा डालतें हैं और उद्योग-धंधे लगने नहीं देते।

मणिपुर की समस्याओं का अंत यहीं नहीं है, नागालैंड में सक्रिय एन० एस० सी० एन० का उग्रवादी नेता मुइवा मणिपुर का ही रहने वाला है जिसे पश्चिमी देशों ने खड़ा किया था। एन० एस० सी० एन० की गतिविधियों के चलते आये दिन मणिपुर में आर्थिक नाकेबंदी रहती है जिसके कारण दैनिक जरूरतों के सामानों के दाम आसमान छूते रहतें हैं, पूर्वोत्तर के बाकी राज्यों की तरह मणिपुर भी बांग्लादेश से हो रहे निरंतर घुसपैठ से अभिशप्त है जिनकी कुल आबादी आज मणिपुर में 25 प्रतिशत से भी अधिक हो चुकी है। मणिपुर के अधिकांश उपजाऊ जमीनें अब इन घुसपैठियों के कब्जे में है। अवैध आव्रजन के चलते यहाँ आई०एस०आई० भी अपना व्यापक आधार बना चुका है।

कभी द्वारिकाधीश भगवान श्रीकृष्ण मणिपुर में स्यमंतक मणि की खोज करते हुए आये थे और जब यहाँ से गये थे तो इस प्रदेश से वैष्णव भक्ति धारा बह निकली थी।

अब कृष्ण के राज्य में जन्में एक शख्स ने पूरब के इस स्वर्ग में 2017 में जब कमल खिलाया तो काफी चीजें वहां बदलने  लगी है।

अभी इसी मणिपुर के नोंगपेक काकचिंग गांव में जन्मी बिटिया ने भारत को जब ओलंपिक में पदक दिलाया तो मुझे सबसे खुशी इसलिए हुई क्योंकि कि ये बच्ची सनातन हिंदू संस्कारों से पूर्णत: आबद्ध है क्योंकि ये बच्ची भी उसी "मैतेई" समाज से है जिसे आज अहिंदू घोषित करने की मुहिम चल रही है और उस प्रदेश से है जो मतांतरण, अलगाववाद, आतंकवाद और बंगलादेश से हो रहे अवैध आव्रजन के चलते लगातार निशाने पर है।

हनुमान चालीसा पढ़ने वाली, पूजा की थाली सजाकर दुनिया के सामने आने वाली मीराबाई का पदक जीतना तो गौरव है ही है पर उससे भी अधिक गौरव इस बात का है कि वो मणिपुर के विघटनकारी ताकतों का भी उत्तर है।

पूर्व के इस राज्य में मद्धिम पड़ चुकी कृष्ण भक्ति का सूर्योदय कर चुकी है अपनी "मीरा"।
