It is learned that a total of Tk 25 lakh in cash and a large quantity of gold jewelery was recovered from the house of the engineer. The video shows investigators bringing in a call mechanic to recover the money.
It may be mentioned here that on Wednesday, the officials of the Anti-Corruption Branch conducted a search in 15 places including the houses and offices of 15 government officials in 60 places in Karnataka on the charge of keeping assets inconsistent with income. The search operation was led by 8 Super of the Anti-Corruption Bureau. A team of 400 people took part in the search operation. An Anti-Corruption Bureau official said: "During the search operation, we recovered a large amount of cash, valuables and documents." But the investigating officer did not say anything about the amount of property.

K.S.Lingegowda, Executive Engineer, from Mangalore, Srinivas .K., Executive Engineer from Mandya, Lakshminarashimaiah, Revenue Inspector from Dodballapur, Vasudev, Ex Project Manager from Banglore, B.Krishnareddy, General Manager from Bengaluru, T.S.Rudreshappa, Joint Director from Gadag, were among the 15 officers against whom a case of disproportionate assets was registered.
