Redmi Note 9 5G and Pro (or maybe High): images and features from TENAA

Redmi Note 9 5G and Pro (or maybe High): images and features from TENAA Redmi is planning to launch some new models of its luckiest series . No Note 10, though: apparently it will still be Note 9 . There should be three smartphones in total, but those that have sprung up today on the TENAA certification body are two. Not only in this way we know the design, but we also learn about the technical data sheet. Let's start with what Redmi Note 9 5G should be (perhaps it will be accompanied by the wording "Standard"), which is equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD FHD + display with an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and a small hole for the selfie- 13 MP cam placed at the top left - and we can already mark a first aesthetic difference compared to Note 9 , 9s and 9 Pro . Under the hood is MediaTek's Dimensity 800U SoC , while the options for RAM are 4, 6 or 8 GB, and for internal storage instead of 64, 128 or 256 GB. The battery has a capacity of 4,900 mAh, and we know through another certification - the 3C one - which will support fast charging at 22.5W. On the back the photographic module changes shape compared to the current models of the Note 9 series and from square it becomes circular, with three chambers (the main one should be 48 MP). Finally, the dimensions are 161.96x77.25x9.2 mm, while the weight amounts to 200 g and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the right side of the device. As the name suggests, there is support for 5G networks . Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, or " High Edition " or even "High Version", on the other hand, is a little bigger and weighs a little more: 165.4 x 76.9 x 9mm and 214 grams. And it has all the air of being a rebrand of the Mi 10T Lite (always 5G). The screen remains an FHD + IPS LCD panel with an aspect ratio of 20: 9, but is larger than the base model, with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, and is also capable of a refresh rate up to 120Hz . The front camera increases in resolution (16 MP) and moves into a hole on the display, but this time located in the upper central part. Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be a rebrand of Mi 10T Lite, but with 108MP camera 23 November 2020 58 Comments Just a month ago we reviewed Xiaomi's Mi 10T Lite , which thanks to the Snapdragon 750 5G processor definitely convinced us . In a few days, and precisely on November 26, Redmi will unveil its new Note 9 5G . We know well by now that the sub-brand proposal refers to that of the parent company, taking the devices and changing some hardware and aesthetic characteristics, and the Note 9 Pro 5G will be no exception. Apparently, in fact, it will be a Mi 10T Lite with a different brand, and with an improved photographic sector . And then we will find the same great Qualcomm SoC, the Snapdragon 750 5G mentioned at the beginning, a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,820 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. To change, however, will be the main sensor of the rear quad-cam, which will go from 64 to 108 MP - while the ultrawide, telephoto and macro ones should remain unchanged. From the graphics above we can also guess that the selfie-cam will be positioned, just like on Mi 10T Lite, in a hole in the center of the screen. It is not clear, therefore, if there will be aesthetic differences compared to the "matrix", and we will probably see them at least in the coloring of the backcover. For all the confirmations on Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and the rest of the lineup, now just be patient a few days: 26 is close The processor here is not a MediaTek but a Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 750G. Memory cuts for RAM are 6, 8 or 12 GB, and for internal storage 64, 128 or 256 GB. As for the rear quad-cam, rumors suggest that the main sensor may even be 108 MP . Not only that, the recent images of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G sales package that emerged on Weibo seem to confirm this, together with the battery capacity of 6,000 mAh. Considering that the certification process is already well underway, let's expect to hear about these new Note 9 5G soon: the presentation should not be far away, and neither should the launch on the market
